Then I went to watch the TV seasons... which I don't really like... not the cast, not the flow... but I kept on just for the Malec in it

I adore the effect you put in Magnus here, those multicoloured threads around him. Just gives the sensation he is too magnificent for this reality and thus had to come to us from another dimension!

You didn't miss anything, believe me Since I live in Spain, I watch it in Spanish, and (sorry if I'm mean) the actress that plays Clary is SO DAMN ANNOYING. It's like she exaggerated the bit annoy that Clary was in the books and multiplied x1000. Alec is too soft and mild, only ever fights with Jace (not even blue eyes that Magnus loves so much). Dorothy is not an old lady... and a long etc.
Really, I won't say the movie was perfect, but it did a waaay better job portraying the (one) book. I can't understand how it wasn't succesful enough to make more.

mmm ok, I see I'm not really surprised by what you says, and, honestly, I had the feeling that the TV serie was born just because the movie wasn't a big success for productors etc...and, because the fans wanted a second movie but not possible finally. The actors of the movie was great (and Jamie Campbell Bower is adorable o_o), so yeah, it's really sad not having a second movie

I like this first book a little bit different from the movie but very interesting and detailed !!!

Indeed! Have you heard about the TV series coming out?
I found it to be slightly tedious around the third book or the first half of the fourth book, and put the series down for a bit, but the last one was definitely worth reading!!!
