it means whatever you want it to mean.the words come from a song i haven't heard in about 2 years and recently stumbled upon again.
the figure was inspired by a photo that i can't seem to find on devart anymore. the submitter was apparently banned. but it was a beautiful photo regardless of the creator.
i have a thing for trees and clouds and organic shapes lately.
materials: old paper i found in some old lady's basement, graphite, ink, gouache

wonderful. I love the combination of graphite and ink, it looks like something I might do... only loads better XD I love how the bubbles seem to pop off the page. Well done!

again, the blue arond the figure works really well, i never seem to be able to add colour to pencil drawings without making it seem out of place.
you, however, have done it with wonderful subtlety.

this is very well done, as always. the touches of blue-green look nice against the dark lines of the main figure. the tangle of roots on the tree is also very attractive. my eye was drawn to it after immediately seeking the main figure. the hatched shading adds a nice sense of depth to the drawing. :]

the whole feel of this piece is prettyful, I really like the ribbon tag messages and the vein-like root things, it's like some awesome tree rooting into the sky/ocean. it's like she's sinking slowly, those bubbles are so mellow and embossed, the clouds are really cute too. i love the fact that i can't tell which way is up or down, it's like being in a space under the ocean. i find her in a fascinating pose, because no matter how much i stare at her mysterious backside, I'll never know the true story.
making the mind wonder is a beautiful talent.
i ponder if i've heard this song before, the one the words came from, it's kinda nostalgic!
