Description lame titles sure are common around here.

here's another painting that i did last week. i was waiting for good conditions to get a picture of it.

i don't really have much to say about this one... the swirlies were a bit of an after thought, because that area of the picture was so empty.

acrylic on canvas, 20"x16"

don't be scared, you'll never learn anything without having actual experience! i was kinda scared to use my painting stuff at first too, but what good is it if it's just sitting around, right? you don't get anywhere without making some mistakes here and there.

aaand i'm done. haha...

Your painting talent grows like morning glories wrapping a fence in the spring. I love how your art works so well in acrylic, it's equivelant to experiencing color tv for the fisrst time. So relaxing and therapeutic with your happy earth tones color. The stroked sky brings a slight sting to my nose, and a tear to my eye, due to the enchanting brightness of all that blue. You paint skin tones and shading with such great composition, it's really delightful to watch your evolving work evolving so vividly. Nice touch on taking a picture of it outside on a sidewalk, more of an earthy feel. Those little white flowers really add a sweetness to the picture, a certain innocence or something. This little girl is probably dreaming of the book she's reading, like she's on a magical page that never runs out of text, and fills her imagination so much her head will explode into a million butterflies. (I know thats a bit crazy) She reminds me of that little sketch you did qute awhile ago, very adorable. Very Favorable

Another beautiful piece. I think you should illustrate childrens books. I mean, if you wanted to! You have awesome skills!

It's somewhat ironic that I see this image now, because just a few minutes ago my mom was telling me that our library closes at noon in the summer, because people don't read as much at that time of year. o_o;; Well anyway, I like the square brushstrokes in this painting, especially in the tree and clouds. And the swirls do look like an afterthought... I'm not sure how I feel about them.

i personally hate them, heh... i may try to fix it later on but this was mostly done to show my skills to my teacher. i might even just redo the whole thing how i originally wanted it to be.

Your titles aren't lame. 'cause y'know i'm so convincing and all.

Anyway, this is so beautifully stylistic I'm dead with envy. :3 I'd ask how you ever conquered such a difficult medium, but I'm pretty sure the answer would be "Practice." Wonderful piece. I love how you didn't doll it up - it speaks for itself completely.

i wish it'd inspire you rather than upset you! you should just do some practice work on some paper or something. i've done tons of practice pieces that i haven't even shown any one in order to get where i am now... and i still have lots of learning to do.

whoo.
