How big is this piece, A3 size?
Really nice work with the texture in this one. Its like you can see the whole universe reflect on his dome. At least, that was the first thought that came to mind when seeing it.

Id like to see more artwork from you, you say this is really old so how do you draw today?

A universal reflection, brilliant. I didn’t even see that in it? I just saw it as a highlights.... .
I have loads of A3 Old pen and ink drawings from years ago ( tried to be a comic artist)?
But, I think that this best represents my b/w era. There is another Alien ink somewhere??
I don’t relay draw, as such anymore. The last thing I drew was Johhny Depp.

But nowadays all my art is CG, mainly characters and creatures.
Which are all modelled, rigged , textured and animated . But never really finished.....

By the way. I really like your Predators you have drawn.
If i can make a suggestion here. ?
You should try them with a watercolour washes, or even coloured in comic style in Photoshop..
As they would look really fab.. But good stuff all the same.

Well, I really think you should pick up a pen and start drawing again, they are very detailed and I definitely want to see more work from you.
So are the CG characters a part of a project or more for fun/work? The Balrog is nicely done, I dont even know where to begin with suck a project/CG animation.

You must be a mindreader, because I have actually been thinking of painting the predators with watercolour and such. I want to try out what colours they would have, skinpatterns and all that stuff, but have never really made that step yet.
I have photoshop on my comp and have tried it a couple of times, but I just feel that it never really does what I want so I consider myself defeated on that part. On the other hand a few people have coloured my work and it looks great, the biggest problem they have though is that I shade too well, appearently...

Anyway, great work from you. Curious to see what you do next.

Thanks. I keep meaning to start painting or drawing again.. but there is too much other CG stuff to finish.

My characters a mainly for fun some are from work..
I just like making stuff and then seeing it move..

If you take the plunge with photoshop, and have any problems I will happy help if poss.. on the other hand Water colours can be fidly to do tho ..Need a tiny brush.

What an I doing next?? Ah yes. A predator Head, sculpted in Mudbox .... so stay tuned..
