Description
Zbrush sculpt, Created, rigged, now awaiting animation in Maya.I really like the Oddworld game characters, so i decided to do one of my own..

awesome, let's face it, since Oddworld Inhabitants closed in 2006, we just haven't seen anything that could match it's style and I'm very glad to see someone doing a bit of fan work of this quality for such a great series!

Thanks for the kind words.Hmm. You got me thinking now, maybe I should model and animate an Abe character. I really liked this game when it came on the Play Station,it was so Fab! Think they should re release all these games again?.
Do you own a copy of The Art of Oddworld book, it is amazing, everytime I look through it I want to model tonnes of stuff.. Just not enough time..

wish I did, artisticly Oddworld is one of the most creative games ever to hit the market, and talk about inspiring to model, their cinematics are gorgeous even by todays standards! I'm so glad I still have my ps1 copies of Oddysee and Exoddus (hooray for PS3 being able to play them!) shame Xbox didn't extend the same curtosy to Munch or Stranger though...

it does take some time to complete the 3d stuff... it takes even longer when when you first start.

Cool... I used to be a Flash artist years ago using version 3 I think it was.
It was a fab little animation package before it got all bloated.

yes I know but I thought it#s maybe less complicated in v. 3 LOL
because it takes so much time to make a decent animation, I rather make them with the hand than with flash

I used to scan hand done stuff in and then colour it up in Flash or in Illustrator.
