A commission for Shirley on facebook - the third in fact. I had the joy to draw Gwynie now and then but now she became a mother of four adorable kittens. Three of them are looking for their luck in new families, so this postcard is some kind of a last memory of them all together.
I wanted to play around with the idea of the meanings of flowers here, thats why you can spot white roses, which stand for goodbyes but also for new beginnings, and the phlox. It is a symbole for cohesiveness, they are a family after all no matter the distance
