Description
The idea behind my poster is inspired from one of my childhood dreams which is having the ability to be invisible and to be honest I still wish if there could be a new invention which gives people the ability to be invisible.
The poster is based on a photo of myself taken by a friend, combined with a photo that I took of my closet. The different colorful textures replace the black usual texture of the Abaya -The traditional Qatari women garment- which makes it look unusual and interesting. The Arabic type on the poster spell the word ‘Shafaf’ which is ‘Transparent’ in English. A very interesting interpretation of the poster by one of my friends was that every single Qatari lady has a unique colorful personality behind the blackness of her Abaya.
