Description The Park for a day
Poem 6

I walked around the park one day
Sequencing my toes in the bright green grass
Resting against the tall Elms with swaying arms
Speaking like a deaf man
Telling you things no one else knows
Feeling the cool breeze whisper to my skin
Sensing the tingle down to my toes
Gazing upon the crystal blue lake
Feeding the ducks hard crusty bread
Listening to them quack nonchalantly about their day
Then turning around and strolling back through
Paying attention to the crackling sand being trod upon
I finally reach the door of my home
In time to see the golden sun dip behind the hills
Turning the sky many shades of orange pink and purple
It was a good day for a walk in the park
Maybe next time you will join me
