Description
Killko/Kiruko from Shinmai Fukei Kiruko-san, one of Shounen Jump's new series with a female protagonist...It's about an overpowered ex-mercenary who can't control her ridiculous strength trying to be a regular city policewoman.

Nope. Kiruko, sadly has been near the bottom of Weekly Jump... if not at the bottom every week (trading on and off with Hungry Joker and Cross Manage). It's leaving soon and there will not be an anime most likely....

That's what we all over at Weekly Jump Live Journal (and also 2ch) thought. The fan art made it look promising but, it didn't correspond into votes. Perhaps if it didn't start at the same time as Shokugeki no Souma (which looks to be a hit. It got 3 straight centre-colours to celebrate it's first volume) it might have been a little more successful but, in the end that's all might have beens.

Yeah, I haven't read it so I don't know, but I have to assume a female protagonist would have a hard time gaining popularity in a comic for teenage boys/young adults. It's too bad.
