Description
This started out as a small pen sketch which I had planned to finish with color pencils. I didn't like how it was progressing so I scanned it into Photoshop and played around with a few different ideas bouncing around my head. So here is the end result.Figure was first drawn in pen (WIP can be seen here: [link] ) and painted in Photoshop. Background: Top half painted, most of bottom half was photomanipped.

The woman was originally drawn in pen and colored in with photoshop.

Looks really good... I especially like the hair and the soles of the feet are just amazing. You seem to have included every line and fold the foot makes when it bends back.
For some reason it made me think of a fallen angel... not sure why.

I don't think you got carried away with the feet at all - I think they look really great.
But I know about getting lost in doing wrinkles - I was like that with the portrait I did of John Wayne.
