Wow, this is a beautiful acrylic. It looked like a pastel in small form. Well balanced, and the curvy shapes lead well from one to another. Looks kinda like Georgia O'Keefe's flower paintings. Time for me to give acrylics a better try too. ^_~

i actually have never seen georgia o'keefe's works until after i did the piece - when my art teacher made a reference to her as well. thank you for your kind compliment.

This is absolutely beautiful. I love the swirl of the the flower & the contrasting tones of pink & blue in the forefront flower petal along with the gray/green (with just a hint of blue) of the background the overall effect is well balanced. Amazing, & you did this in acrylic, even more amazing. I'll have to give those paints another try.

it's quite easy actually. click on my name to go to my front page, and the gray bar just above "featured deviation" and "devious information", there's a button called "+DeviantWatch". click on that and there you go~

no the color is what u see. it's green-gray/black. actually this is one of my favorite paintings i've done. lol. the art assistant said that she got thrills down her spine when she first saw it.. at any rate, the actual painting is better than this digital photo of it.
