Description One of the dinoes I sculpted for the BBCs Planet Dinosaur. I Zbrushed the dino in the background as well but not the saw fish.

I did about 27. Also some trees and stuff, which can be seen here:

[link]

Edit: And the BBC have been putting out small behind the scenes videos. This one is about the creation of the Dinos.

[link]

Edit: and some footage of the spino. The Saw Fish was sculpted by another chap but I had the task of sculpting the bite/tear marks when the Spino bites into it.

This is still far more accurate than the inaccurate abomination/chimera of 2014; which has been fallen out of favor years ago

One of the best documentaries I've ever seen was Planet Dinosaur. I loved the spinosaurus expensively. I think this was like the first truly accurate portal of it I've seen in years

I would feel truly honored if you would allow me to use this in a video I am making about the Dinosaurs who were the Apex Predators of their reign. Its a non-profit slide show montage video, made for fun and advent viewing to everyone. If no, I will respect that. If yes however, then I will guarantee that your name will be in the credits and there will be a link back to your DA page in the description box so that everyone can know that it is work. What do you think?

Thanks for leaving a message. I wish I could let you use this image but I am a lowly artist. The BBC probably own the rights to it and they would have last say.

Personally, I would have liked you to use it or give you more info that could be of some use but I don't know about copyright. The best I could find is here www.bbc.co.uk/terms/help.shtml… ... and that really doesn't explain much. If I find out any different I'll leave another message.

Good luck with the project.

mx In reply to Tyrannotitan333 [2011-09-12 16:24:23 +0000 UTC]

It could be an Aucasaurus... but don't quote me on that. I can hardly remember any of the dinosaurs names let alone pronounce them correctly.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tyrannotitan333 In reply to mx [2011-09-13 06:01:28 +0000 UTC]

I wouldn't say it would be an Aucasaurus, as it lived much later, and in South America. You're suggesting that it may be an abelisaur, so does Rugops ring a bell?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

mx In reply to Tyrannotitan333 [2011-09-13 14:50:53 +0000 UTC]

You know your stuff.

You're right, it is in fact the Rugops. The director did Walking with Dinosaurs so I'm sure the factual side of the program is correct.
