The character is inspired by Grant Morrisonβs run on Doom Patrol.Made in Zbrush 3.1, Maya, rendered in Mental Ray and tweaked in Photoshop.

Wow, he would have been a great villain in Doom Patrol! Maybe if the series had continued with Morrison for a few more years, we could have seen someone like this guy show up after the Candlemaker was defeated, to sort of take advantage of all the chaos on the astral plane. He would have been a great recurring villain, which the team lacked after Mr. Nobody was killed. Great job!!

love it love it love it its so sinister looking i want this as a poster on my wall. a big one.
the subtle details make it that much more perfect, like that pinkish orange glow of the light shining under the eyelid, and the teeth just visible behind that speaker/muzzle think over his mouth.

Oh! pardon my ignorance but I've never heard of Gotffried Heinwein before. I've seen some of his work but never put a name to a... photo. I'll have to keep an eye out for him. I like his style.

he is really cool, he is an Austrian photgrapher , he did few portraits of marlyn manson, and rammstein metal band mebers . also he made few pictures of scary micky mouse which were amazing .. google him you will be amazed by his works
