This drawing was a delightful relaxing moment for me..
It's made for the contest hosted by [link]
The charaters in this drawing are nature sprites. (yes, like the green women from Fantasia 2000) Their names are Delatina (left) and Philadelphia (right). My interpretation of the nature sprites are that they are magical beings who are very much in touch with the elements and nature and they have the ability to let nature grow and bloom.

It's actually kinda funny because these characters aren't mine at all but as I was drawing them I really felt like I knew them or something. Maybe I'm being just silly now but I can't be the only person who bonds with an OC or character, haha. Drawing them was like getting to know them and I just feel like I've drawn these for ages! So weird.. haha. Maybe all this is also because I did quite some research about these characters before I started drawing. I'd really like to draw them more often if I get permission from the original artists.

And there's aslo a bit of a story behind this drawing.
Delatina and Philadelphia live in a rainforest and were helping nature on a regular day. Then, during mid-day the two sisters met a little kiwi-bird. (I don't know if these birds actually live in rainforests but this one just does ) The two sisters felt bad for the little bird without wings and rewarded him with a set of beautiful colourful wings and a gorgeous tail. The little Kiwi-bird was forever grateful and happy for the rest of his life!

D'aaww, ain't that sweet???
Anyway, I hope my entry will be appreciated and I can't wait untill they announce the winners!
