Description It's about time I contributed something to the brony community so here's a pic of my favourate ship, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, cuddling, wearing sweaters for some reason, and that their colours are each others' fur colour.

Based part of this idea from an image from the awesome , just wished my scanner was working but had upload it from my phone, will need to redo it in photoshop at a later date.

Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle are owned by Hasbro and Lauren Faust.

I love the sweaters! There needs to be more drawings of ponies in sweaters. This should be a new thing, like the socks thing

Hey, this is my favorite ship, too. But what's with the earrings?

Um, I saw it off one of 's drawings, thought it looked cute and put it in the sketch, and since I thought it worked I left it in there.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I saw her drawing, too, and I think she wants to write a Twidash story with earrings.

Hey I'm glad you like it. I used promarkers to do the colouring for the image, mostly because they bleed less than copix markers.

im sorry, i may be an artist, but i dont understand the terms lol whats the difference between those markers?

They're both different brands of markers, good for colouring, Copix have two sided ends, a brush end and a thick end, and promarkers have two ends, a thick end and instead of a brush end they have a thin end like a felt pen, which is great for doing smaller details, it's more of a matter of preference since they're both really great for colouring.

how much do they cost? and do you think pencil crayons would work?

My-little-Brony In reply to MetaDragonArt [2011-07-29 22:56:34 +0000 UTC]

Pencil crayons only work if you're very good at colouring with them, not a big fan of them once I started using markers. The promarkers cost around £2-£3 EACH in English stores, you can buy them online. Problem with markers is the cost, I've used them for two years on a student budget and I still haven't got the entire set, I just buy the ones I need, and then re buy the ones I need. You will also need to use marker paper as markers bleed through the paper. But for colouring I would definatly recommend them.

alright, a couple things:
1.) teehee i has some skill at pencil crayons
2.) isnt that expensive in canadian dollars?
3.) only paper i got is plain paper from the printer

Yeah I think it is quite expensive in Canadian dollars, like I said it isn't cheap to get a full set. And if you're using printer paper it would really bleed through, going over the lines and such. I mean I use thick sketching paper and it still bleeds through a little bit.

Yeah I don't think using the exact same marker for both the fur and sweater didn't really help, but I did try to darken the sweaters a little bit, the photo quality doesn't really help either.
