Description You do not trust me
And perhaps it is better that way
Because I am not a fox
That is to be trusted
I have looked into the eyes of a betrayer
And I am drawn.

This drawing has actually been done for a very long time. It was the last in the "Yohko" series that I went off on those two weeks I was with Dad. The poem was supposed to be beside her but...I was so afraid to mess up the picture, that I refused to write it on there. -death-

I experimented with new pens on this one, after doing alot of thinking about Itachi and his relationship with Yohko. (It's a platonic relationship, relax.) Yohko was his mother's best friend, and - making a long story impeccably short - she feels dedicated to him because of that, and it brings her to do alot of not so honest things, especially concerning Naruto.

Alot of it was based around the element of shadow. You'll notice it has no background and, yeah, there is a reason for that. To cover up for my own laziness, which was most of it, I also felt much more dedicated to making the texture of her skin and clothing realistic and beautiful. -smiles meekly- Her eyes don't usually look like that (they're usually golden, and alot bigger) but...meh. I hadn't posted anything with her eyes open.

I don't think the fishnet came out very well. And the pen looks bad, on her shirt. I need India Ink so I can learn how to use it. -siezure-

Art pencil, markers, art pen. 2 hours.

EEEK! REVIEWS! -dies-

-leapgusstrangle- OMIGOD! I GOT REVIEWS!

-blinks at crushed reviewers- Aw dammit. Why'd I go and do that...? -sweatdrop-

-sigh- Wow. That was...a shock. I never get reviews.

Like.

Ever. -foams at the mouth-

PrettyKitty-san, thankyou so much for the compliment. -smiles- I only hope my pictures get even nicer and more pleasurable to look at as time goes on.

Keredan-san, I'm really glad to hear that. The hair and eyes are usually what I focus on, especially when it comes to Yohko, just because they're easy to get lost in, texturally. I can go all out with shadows and the like and it makes me happy. -smiles-

I'm glad it's a small flaw in your perspective. A very nice thing to know. I'm going to try and experiment with more materials as time goes on...but...um...just seeing as my parents are kind of broke right now...and I am no exception...I think I'm going to have to depend on Christmas rolling around in order to get any. -dies-

I do hope to get some around then though...and I really want to improve my art before then, so it doesn't look like crap. Screen-toned, inked crap is still crap in my opinion. -twitch-

Thankyou so much, both of you.

You have made me a very happy little sheep.

Wishing you all the best.

This is a great piece. The fishnets don't look too bad, actually. I love how you did the hair and her eyes.

However, I do agree with you on the inking of the shirt. But, that's a very small flaw in a very great piece.
