This is my entroy for the 4 season contest by theHere can you find the information about the contest. [link]
I made it with photoshop CS4. I had luck, because changed the deadline. THANK YOU!
I needed all the time, because the coloring was very compicated. I made more than 50 layers but I think I could not make so much. I think more things on one layer would be better. Now it is done and I will memorize it for the next picture.
My mothers and my favorite season on my picture is fall.
Which season do you like best?

Ich habe so lange an diesem Bild gesesen, aber heute wΓΌrde ich es wohl etwas besser ausgemalt bekommen. In Photoshop Schattierungen verwischen ist nicht so toll bei mir. xD

Kann schon sein. Aber aufjeden Fall sieht es Hammer aus. Ich beneide dich, dass du 1. so mega gut zeichnen kannst und 2. du Photoshop besitzt.

Photoshop is very difficult to use. Paint Tool Sai is much easier, so I think. I love photoshop but coloring with sai is better.

I really like your interpretation of this, Specifically how the sun is positioned for each season and that the circle represents the year "round".

I thougt of my time at primary school and made it like a circle, because we learned the month and the seasons with a circle.

Wow, this is really beautiful! I love how you used the sky as a motif to represent each of the seasons. Spring is the beginning of new life, and so you used a dawn Sun for beginning a new day (and you used a newborn Yoshi!). Summer is the middle, and so the noon Sun fits. Autumn is when things start to settle down and plants begin to wither, and so you used a dusk Sun. Finally, for winter, you used the Moon, as these things signify the end of the year/life and the end of the day, respectively.
Brilliant coloring job, as well; it really captures the pastel-like visuals of Super Mario World 2, which enhances the Yoshi's Island theme you were going for. It's fun, lighthearted, and beautiful; awesome job.
