I'm moving to a mac soon so I guess it'd be a perfect opportunity to try and translate my current SAI colouring style into photoshop cs6 83 SAI doesn't work on macs how dare it TTnTT and I think mypaint doesn't either (well it does, but I don't think it's got pressure sensitivity and I need that to LIVE) so I gotta work out how to use photoshop 8<

Oh my...I hate colour with photoshop (i can't understand that vector-thing) i only use it for effects and edition.
But mine is CS3, maybe the newer versions are easier.

ah, yesh please >w< it'd save me a lot of time because otherwise I'd have to do it by hand because I don't know any of the photoshop tools and every time I do the flats by hand they take 1-2 days minimum TT_TT I made a colour chart for 3 of my charries, Chie being one of them~ [link] the colour that overlaps all the other colours is the main/base colour. and if you save it as .psd you can upload it via sta.sh and I can get it from there

I'll probably just use the brush tool and I have a tutorial in my favs to create a brush that mimics SAI's water tool 83 when I was using SAI the only tools I really used were the pen, airbrush and water tools. and the eraser ofc but everybody uses that.
I've always used GIMP for effects :3

gimp is super easy >w< though it isn't pressure sensitive with wacom tablets... I think it was with my trust tablet though... either way I can easily teach you to use it >w<

.sai files are specifically for Painttool SAI. .xcf are for GIMP (I think) and .psd work with GIMP, Photoshop, SAI and probably a bunch of other programs too.

ask accounts are basically accounts where you ARE your character :3 you RP as them and answer questions as them and etc... I have one for Sai and one for Chie because atm they're the only ones with profiles on here ([link] )... Chie's is and Sai's is ... you should make some for Miyabi and Minorin :3
