Wow, not even using a base? o.o It's really hard for me drawing without one, especially if it's a full body -w-'

........
well.. if you want the truth
I try to make my self more a better drawer
I'm still learning,
and I'm a shame at myself with the other professional drawer
they were better than me..
I just try my best to be as good as they are
and.. the truth is..
Like what all of them say to me..
I'm just a 'copy cat' person

I see. But hey, we all start somewhere, and it's also very normal for a person to use bases and references. For example, I draw pretty decent, but sometimes I use bases and such, because I'm still not entirely confident. But that does not mean you should use bases and claim to have drawn it all by yourself, because that will turn you to an art thief. You wouldn't want that, would you? I don't want you to steal, and I don't want you to get hate from others. So, can you promise me that you will always credit whenever you use a base or reference?

I know, I'm just telling her that she could be if she continued with this, now that she knows it's wrong.

Exactly what rude thing did I tell her? I explained that yes, people do what she did, but that's because most of them are art thieves, and the rest just didn't know it was wrong. I talked to her in a calm way, and I never said her art was useless. I never said she was a freak, I never said that I knew her, I just did what was right. I'm sorry for making her sad, but she needs to understand anyways that she can't do that. If I didn't tell her, someone else would've eventually, and they'd most likely be way more rude than you thought I was.

You need to understand that even if someone has a rough time, it does not give them the right to do things that are against the rules. But, as long as she answers truthfully when someone asks, I guess it's alright for her to sometimes forget. I'm really sorry that she's gone through those things, I didn't know. I'll gladly become her friend, and if it ever happens that someone else makes her sad, tell me so I can help her as well.

Scars may not dissappear, but you can learn to ignore them. So I hope that one of these days, you'll be able to get over what happened.

I'm drawing my OC/Persona and Atem from Yugioh ^^
I'm lucky being teach about SAI by my Big Sis..
I'm enjoying drawing it..
it much easier than drawing in drawbook..
but I'm still confuse how she can draw traditional more
than digital?

SayuriChan70 In reply to stephaniescarlet [2014-04-28 17:07:33 +0000 UTC]
I already ask her, she love both
but since she busy with chores, she didn't have time to draw or used SAI

stephaniescarlet In reply to SayuriChan70 [2014-04-28 18:13:54 +0000 UTC]
I see. Then maybe even if she loves both, maybe drawing traditionally for her is easier.
