L and Light finally see what they look like in the movies. L is shocked at how handsom he is. And Light doesn't know what to think!No offense to Tatsuya Fujiwara, but as Light he was his least attractive. I blame the hair. Meanwhile Ken'Ichi Matsuyama looks great as L.

I actually thought the casting to be well done. There's rumors of an American version but seriously hope they don't. It'd lose a lot.

Looking back Tatsuya does seem like a good choice for Light.
As far as an American one goes, I don't seem very convinced it will happen. But even still, the rumor they have Zac Efron seems real bogus. Like he would take that role with his Disney Channel image.

They did dub it. The Japanese is better. Once it's on DVD watch in Japanese with subs, THEN watch the dub and you'll see whats' better.

Oh well they played the movie in select theaters a while ago with the dub (I already own it in Japanese) and they used the English voice actors, I must tell you it is not a good dub.
