Description
After a walk down a long, sandy path I arrived at the northern tip of Sandy Hook. The trip was worth it after I spent some time with two pairs of Oystercatchers. They were putting on a courtship display by bobbing their heads up and down while walking side-by-side. These monogamous birds did not seem to want to leave each others side.American Oystercatcher
