Description This Semipalmated Plover was on my top list of birds to photograph for a while - they are so cute! This extremely cooperative Plover was hanging with a large flock of hundreds of Sanderlings, with some other birds mixed in (Dunlin, Semipalmated Sandpipers and Western Sandpipers). The term "semipalmated" refers to its partly webbed feet - if you look closely, you can see the webbing between its toes.
