Description
Nuthatches forage for insects hidden in tree bark while climbing vertically up and down trees. A lot of times, they will be upside down with their heads stretched horizontally - a famous pose that you certainly see when observing a nuthatch.The photo is not slanted - the curve is the start of a main branch.
Taken in my backyard from my deck.
