no that much, I must think of how to animate it first, then if I prepared well it'll take not so long to make, but still lot of works. 
After it is just to draw the character over and over again and make sure the shading is alike, etc. ^^
It is quite different from a painting, but very enjoyable! <3

cool ^^ i wish i could make things like that i just use bases recolor them add accessories add custom bgs and sometimes adding special things like glowing and stuff i would love to make a custom one someday but im not great with shading and stuff

if you want free icons go to the deviantart and write stock icons. Then seek out, it's written what is free and what isn't
a commission, from the start wouldn't be something free... someone paid for it and it's someone's character.
