Giving anthropomorphic animals a hairstyle can be really hard, but this is the way to do it right, I think! Incorporate it into the fur! Looks less like a wig that way!
I like her colours too, vanilla cream, sky blue and blueberry purple! Just a bunch of feel-good colours!
