I had computer trouble as well, and I admit to a certain level of freak-out when it happened, even if it turned out alright!
Although your computer-issue seems to stem more from sub-par customer service rather than natural wear-and-tear!

I have been there. My family was without internet for around 14 days this one time. And it nearly drove me bonkers how I could live in a house with two tech-savvy people and not one of us had tried turning the router off and on again.
That did the trick.

lol and oh yeah, the second you think something doesn't smell right, or they get suddenly quiet, the paranoia mounts!
