Description
ROKS PF-62, former USS PF-48 Rockford was one of Tacoma-class frigate fought in the Pacific ocean and once joined Soviet Navy in Project Hula. She returned to US navy in 1949 and had been floating on Japanese Port, until Korean War outbroke in 1950. She got lent to ROK Navy and fought DPRK fighters in Yalu River; where her name means(Apnok is Korean pronunciation of Yalu, meaning 'mallard green' in chinese). DPRK fighters were made in Russia, once she served.
She got tragic death. She was struck by USS Mt. Baker and sent back to USA, and sunk as a torpedo drill target.
