Personality and story: Lazulite has kind of a mix personality between Amethyst and Pearl. He is patient and nice, but can get a few reckless and anxious about things sometimes. His "Amethyst side" consists of him being reckless and relaxed sometimes, and carefree for his close ones. On his "Pearl side", he's kinda a bit perfeccionist, patient and also elegant. Sometimes being a little bit smoothy. A bipolar gem is the most summarized way to explain him.

He used to be one of the most gems in Blue Diamond's court, like a counselor from her. He decided to turn to the Crystal Gems after Sapphire ran out with Ruby. Blue Diamond wanted the destruction of the Rebellion, but Lazulite never resolved any problem with violence. He wanted at least, just send them to jail. Shocked by Blue Diamond's extreme behaviour by her wish to see the death of the Crystal Gems, Lazulite tried to talk to her, but she rejected, he and ran away to the earth.

On the Earth, he tried to look for the Crystal Gems and their leader. When they found him, the Crystal Gems tried to fight with him and destroy him, but Rose interrupted them. She told them that she saw in Lazulite's "heart" that he wanted to change to their side, and that he wanted to protect humanity from the Diamonds. As time passed, they created a big confidance with him. After Rose's death, Garnet may be on charge, and Pearl after that, and then Lazulite.
