Meet Zenichai. I'd been meaning to make a profile for him for a while now. He is a mate I designed for my mascot Neoki . Just like her, he is a born-again dragon with the powers of the phoenix. That's what it takes to be a phendrake, one is not simply born a phendrake, you are born an ordinary dragon. But once you die to self, you are reborn a holy dragon; a physical expression of being born again in the Christian faith.

Anyway, Zenichai is a bit cocky and over-confident in his skills, and the harder he tries to impress Neoki, the more of a screw up he appears. He fails, but he fails with grace, and in a way it is endearing. Like most males, he is larger than his female counter-part; I like to compare Neoki to the size of a medium-sized dog, while Zeni is more like a large dog. While both exhibit traits of both felines and canines, Neoki also tends to be a bit more feline in her ways, while Zeni tends to be much more canine (which is observed best by his love of water and swimming, while Neoki on the other hand does not much enjoy swimming, though she can just fine).

Zenichai has a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor, and while a bit of a doof, he loves the company of his friends and family, and he will adamantly protect them with his life if he must. Another thing I should note: unlike Neoki, he wears no collar, and this is because he is stray, while Neoki actually belongs to Mykoto. He spends a lot of time around Mykoto, but really only while he's with Neoki. Zenichai belongs to no man.

Although they are not specifically of any particular element, for the sake of a few stories (and pictures), if they are imagined belonging to an element, he would be of the fire element, while Neoki would be ice.

I'm totally not happy with that little snarl face I gave up there on the left... can't tell you how many times I erased that whole area and tried again, and this is the best one I made, but I'm still not satisfied I think. Good chance I'll keep working with it and resubmit it if I manage to get it right >_>;;
