Black and white forces the viewer to concentrate more on the abstract shapes formed by the oil, but I think the color version was more interesting to look at. Another variation I just thought about...coloring the oil, the water, and/ or both.

I would like to see more of the photos you took. I would imagine that the abstract shapes formed by the oil are different in each photo. Depending on the shape, I can see people making different interpretations of what they see in the water.

I think that I like your gallery because there seems to be a theme of peacefulness in a lot of the pictures, and it's calming to me. I hope photography is helping you with your troubles.

Yes indeed photography has helped me a lot in the last few months ,i just started taking pictures about the same time i joined dA (4 months ago)and i discovered how much i love taking pictures and going out for long walks with my camera. There's more than one picture where i show or at least i try to show very intimate feelings and having other people looking at them and liking them is something priceless to me. Thank you .
