They are ridiculously cute together, the way they balance each other out.

Yuudai would have gotten bullied super hard in school for dat hair.
When I was in Japanland I met a woman from Okinawa, whose family moved to Tokyo when she was young. Some Okinawans have naturally curly hair, and this woman had can't-straighten-it-no-matter-how-hard-you-try hair.
She got bullied by all the other kids, and the teachers encouraged it (not sure to what degree), just because she was different. All the way through school, right up 'til she finished. I can only imagine someone with a different colour would get it just as bad or worse. The moral of this story is that japanese kids are assholes.
Maybe this is the reason why Yuudai's all bitter and jaded and junk.
