Their expressions <3. I have an Eclectus parrot and a lovebird, and I just love all of your avian related pieces. You capture them beautifully.

Oh thank you so much!!! Birds are my life, I've got 3 conures and some budgies, but I've worked with both big and small parrots most of my life! They're so important to me I don't think I could live without them

FFFF are you kidding me?!
I really want one of those!! I had an african grey, but he was not handfed and had lived 11 of his years with no human contact.
(and the sellers told me that he was pretty tame, which wasnt the case).
So after a couple of years I found out that he needed someone more skilled with parrots ;; Now he lives with a male and another african grey tho! ;u;
I'll deffinatly get a bird or a smaller parrot (LIKE THESE CUTIES) once I move out and am SURE I have the time for them.
They are just so lovely ;; I LOVE the conures with the sunflower colours <3 But they are all beautiful;u; <33Β
How are they when it comes to handling? I've heard some say that they can be pretty noisy?

Aw man yeah that's the trouble with buying older birds or from people who aren't breeders, you don't really know what you're going to get unless you visit the bird yourself and have previous interactions with it.
I'm glad he's in a good home now!! It's always tough giving up pets that require someone more skilled.
Conures are AMAZING. They are SO SWEET and cuddly and just overall nice birds.
Like with all birds, it really depends on if it's handfed as a baby or not. Generally from my experience they're pretty good with being handled! My first conure wasn't handfed and it took a while for her to get used to me / learn basic cues but she picked it up pretty fast.
Β They can be really noisy, but sun conures and jenday conures are DEFINITELY louder than green cheek conures / cinnamon conures / pineapple conures. My green cheek gets noisy once or twice a day, where she'll scream a little and quiet down, and its not so bad.
My sun on the other hand is REALLY loud when he screams. I've had my ear drums left ringing for about 10 minutes after having a birdy beak yell in my ear!
So it generally depends on what type of conure it is (genus wise), aratinga or pyrrhura. Aratinga conures (suns, jendays, nanday, and a few others) are larger than pyrrhura and are generally noisier, pyrrhura conures (green cheek, cinnamon green cheek, black capped , rose breasted) are the opposite
Here are my children!

My greencheek really needs her nails / beak trimmed rrrrrrrr

Yeah, its a shame. I did end up having a close bond with him tho! <3 He would fly and sit on my shoulder whenever he had the chance, and I couldnt be in the same room without him comming to me ;u; <3
But he absolutely HATED my boyfriend, my mom and everyone else which deffinatly made it a bit hard to handle him ;;
So I sold him for a lot less then what I paid for, and explained his personality and that I wanted someone experienced ;u; This guy told me that he had 20 years experience with parrots, so thats a releaf ;; <3 I know that he is in good hands. I was so afraid to sell him, and that he would end up being resold over and over again (since they do get quite old..)
Sun conures are deffinatly a favorite colour vise, but then I might think of a green cheek or a cinnamon instead ;u;Β
Its just colours after all! Now I've been pretty used to an african grey, and they dont really make a lot of bird noises.. Even tho he had these two alarm sounds he would make when he wanted attention.
I've seen so many videos of these conures playing around and cuddling ;;; <33 Ugh, they are too adorable!!
I'm dying here, they are all so beautiful!!! <33 What are their names?
