The story behind this is a long one, but here's a summary of what is going on here:
Robyn is a scout in a different world much like ours - she is part of the royal guard following the prince while he attends the elite royal academy. Robyn likes to swing up onto a high window in one of the many towers in the academy complex and look through her seascope to check for threats or attacks on the school while the prince is attending. She likes getting into trouble and then getting out of it again - a perfect temperament for her job description.

It just takes practice! I took 7 figure drawing classes, an anatomy class, and I draw a lot of people at cafes, train stations, and parks. After all that, I should be pretty decent

You are more than pretty dencent, I have done tht when it comes to painting. But drawing not so much

I know what u mean...so I guess it just a fear of doing a drawing, with all the shading it self...not nessecaily drawing itself..doe tht make sense?

I understand! I call that "Blank Canvas Syndrome" but other artists have other terms for the same feeling, I'm sure. I used to get that a lot when I was first starting - the only cure is by doing and not being so precious with your materials. If you invest in a digital tablet, you will find you learn faster because all the canvas and paint is free, there is the undo option (which makes you more daring and bold) and you are less likely to feel personally miserable if something doesn't turn out the way you wish it would!
Time, practice, and patience. The time to get there is the most daunting hurdle - it took me 10 years to learn how to draw figures easily (and it's not easy, by any stretch, I just feel more comfortable doing it now) and about 5 years to feel comfortable doing landscapes. Still lifes are the easiest to draw from life, and also were my foundation - I did years and years of traditional (mostly graphite and charcoal drawings) still life and self portraiture before I hit high school.
I believe that anyone, and I mean anyone, can draw. If you want it, it is yours. It just takes a lot of effort, so you really really have to want it.

agreed...anyone can draw you just make the your self believe in the art, and than the art in you. (that goes for just anything in life..for even as a writer,if i dnt know the rules first, dnt trust my self to get them..than can I cant hope for the story to have faith in me too)
i understand what to you, for when I learning how to draw and all, I was comfy with drawing anything and everything...taking my time to do the details, and now worrying about making it perfect.
but than I simply did painting..have been for a few years now. to a point that I am just as comfy with painting as you are with drawing.
but I have to do a piece for friend. paint few people. I know can do it, but the thought of doing people just makes my gut tight, but am just gona get to it and will see what happens. (this is kind of nice...long conversations

Oh thank you! The boots are truly cool yeah - they serve as a key to the secret police chambers, they also have different lenses for her seascope and some clockwork keys that detach too
