So, three weeks ago I started working on an amigurumi pattern that would work for lots of different types of figures. Last week I found some gorgeous blue and purple yarn and tried out my new pattern with it.
I was loosely inspired 's Ely Funniest thing is that yesterday she uploaded a piece she made, based on me. So we've both been working on "fanart" of each other at the same time.

So yeah, as you can see, the hat is removable, though the doll looks really creepy without the hat. I actually planned to make the hat in purple too, but I ran out of yarn, the doll actually took a whole ball of yarn to make. And, what's even weirder, the hat was the complete ball of blue yarn, so it uses just as much yarn as the doll. I had planned to make a dress to cover the dolly up, but since I have no matching yarn left, I guess she's gotta stay all n00d.

So yeah, there you go, Ely-inspired amigurumi doll I'll be working on the pattern a bit more, there's still some things to perfect and I'm really enjoying working out my own signature doll body. So, no copying, this is my pattern, my work.
