Another free form amigurumi, this time it's a cute little unicorn. As always, I work without a pattern. It's the first time I tried the curly wurly technique and I really like how the mane came out.

I made mine a little different, but this will work just as well, just adjust the hook size to the yarn, for amigurumi hair curls, I'd suggest a smaller hook with a finer yarn.

Alright, thanks! Looks easy. Did you use a single crochet stitch for your unicorn hair, or just a smaller hook? because they look nice and thin.

I used half double crochet, but I think I put 5 in each ch to make the curls tighter... I'm not sure anymore though. Try to play around with different stitches and see what happens, that's what I usually do.

isn't amigurumi kinda hard?
i made a doll back in august (i cant upload the stupid pics because i lost the camera mount) and it took me a good deal of five days. like, it was almost eat, sleep and make a doll.
maybe not hard, but time-consuming.

It's not really hard, bu yes, it takes a while. Once you crochet more often you do get faster, but it's still rather time consuming. This little guy took me the better part of two days to finish.
