This is a recreation of a piece by *khallion that I painted for my best friend for Christmas. Luckily for me, she's not on DA so I can post it! I took a MUCH looser approach to this piece than I normally do with painting - usually I'm super meticulous about detail. But since A: I was a bit short on time and B: I wanted to try out this loose style, I opted for this method! I like it, and definitely want to explore a looser painting style in the future. It's one of my 2014 goals - more painting!Acrylic paint on a purchased canvas
