SO
this is something i've wanted to do literally since the moment i created my
Glaceon boy you may or may not be familiar with, Morgan!! <3
but what is it i've wanted to do, exactly??
create the Yin to Morgan's Yang, the only one who can counter-attack and successfully end Morgan.
however, unlike Morgan. Clive would never truly kill his opponent -- not only is that just bad juju to him,
but it's his most favorite game in the world to torment Morgan! why would he cut the fun short?

i've had damned sketches of these two for years but was never satisfied with Clive's image
and ended up favoring Morgan too much to put him through hell. while Morgan is still
the love of my life, i think it's time somebody puts a stop to the continuous murder sprees XD

sorry if i don't have much written about him btw i have a lot of ideas, but don't know how to write them out yet LOL
either way i love my boy lots, just as i do Morgan!! they're my beloved idiot boys!!! TwT

p e r s o n a l i t y :.

extremely laid back, yet can also be seriously commanding when he needs to be!
responsible, leader-like, takes charge when nobody else will and is sure to get the job done right!
doesn't like to see others hurt and will take the heat for them if at all possible
chill and easy to talk to, friendly as can be with most everybody and quick to make buddies!
hella mischievous, enjoys planning out ways to spoil Morgan's fun.. >:3c
exactly the opposite of Morgan btw, ahaha. cares about everybody and only wants the best for everyone
seems tired and lazy a lot of the time but don't judge him too quick, you'll be surprised at what he can do!
...though honestly, he IS actually tired all of the time and prefers to take it easy xD
messy in appearance and tone but has proven worthy as the leader of his team

spoiling Morgan's deadly plans - annoying Morgan too tbh ahaha - reading, spends a lot of time doing this!
leading his team - being looked up to by the youngsters - all of his friends and teammates!!
more upbeat music, doesn't care for slow-paced stuff - eating...loves spicy foods so much XD
writing novels himself, really enjoys putting his heart into his work -- writing about his adventures with Morgan
lazing around, likes to be able to take it easy rather than stay busy - puzzles of all sorts
gardening...actually has his own little garden and loves each of his little flowers <3

!!shorter than A LOT of Arcanine!! he's actually like two feet smaller
and a hecca ton chubby -- he's a very good boi!!

unlike Morgan who never smiles, Clive is literally ALWAYS smiling!!
he's damn near happy about something at any given time, so don't count
on seeing the good boi looking grumpified :'3c

actually a very proud writer, he loves spending his time writing novels!!

he's never seen without his green tie, just as Morgan is never seen without his navy one!! <3

aaah yes, Morgan...Clive's absolute nemesis in life.
you wouldn't believe it, but the two actually used to be best friends at a much younger age,
side-by-side, the top fighters in their past team -- they were near impossible to beat when together!
however, their friendship took a swift and sour turn the moment Morgan realized he was far too powerful
to be wasting his time playing nice with other pokemon...why faint them, when you could just kill instead?
"Let's take it a step further and prove how strong we are, Clive. No more games."
something had changed in Morgan at that very moment those words were spoken.
Clive spent his time arguing with Morgan and trying to get him to understand what nonsense he
had been speaking..."Kill them?! have you truly gone mad, Morgan? This isn't what we were trained for!"
Morgan had heard enough, it was clear Clive would never understand what he was going for...so, the
male Glaceon had split off from his team, choosing to be on his own from then on.
while this saddened Clive, it didn't at all put out the fire in his heart that he had for justice.
Clive refused to let Morgan have his way with the world.
deep down, Morgan knew he couldn't fight Clive due to his type disadvantages and this is the
reason why he chose to be in hiding. Morgan is actually rather fearful of his ex-friend's power,
even though he would never admit it in words. Clive knows this well and uses every advantage
he has against his old friend. many times Morgan's fun has been spoiled by the Arcanine mix,
but this had never stopped him from continuing his work in the dark. Morgan is still quite capable,
to this day claiming lives where he can -- especially when challenged. Clive may have a hard time
tracking down the old Glaceon even after all of these years, but he does what he can to ruin Morgan's games.
when the two clash, it isn't a pretty sight to witness. the two go at each other until near death but never push past that.
Morgan still doesn't understand why he is always being spared by Clive when he could simply end him then and there...
...and somewhere in that heart-lacking body, he is grateful to be left alive.
when not having to be some kind of hero, Clive likes to simply push Morgan's buttons through
snarky remarks and annoying taunts. the two can chew ears off, rambling for hours at each other.
neither would admit it, but it's still quite possible that the two have kept their old friendship alive,
despite everything that has and continues to happen. Morgan doesn't respect just anyone, but
he does hold an obvious bit for Clive...though it may be respect born from the fear of fire, perhaps...who knows XD
in the end, the two remain life-long rivals who constantly drive each other insane...one way or the other.
