Okay, updated a little bit but not finished yet. I still think there will be a fairlylong way to go, but I'm liking the results so far.I shifted her forward so her center of gravity is better, Moved her wings and added some details. A little more detail to the Light source as well. Just thought I'd share the update

that is absolutely incredible! I love the misty dreamy quality to it, the chosen colours are perfect. It took me a while to notice the cheeky little fairy in the background...... v.v. cute. Great job, was definatley worth the time it took to upload!

i love that main faerie she is truly well done the face looks so real like to well down and i like the choice of colours gives it an other worldly feel.

Wooo this is cool. Ilke the colours of the background alot. The fairy is really good though, you were right to change the icon. Her expression is excellent. Something is making me stare at the wings though. Its nice not to see insect wings for a change but they sort of look like a hairy dogs wagging tail? Like i said the rest is brilliant ( as usual ) but something about those wings...

wow! a fantastic pastel extravagance!
I'm an expert on the spiderwebs but some of the 'lines' look a bit too sharp... maybe to smudge them a little and add some glitter for emphasis? like the one on the 'dress' and wings.

oh my...its so gorgeous......so so gorgeous, I hate to sound like a praising child, but I am I suppose. the whole peice, blows me away...the colours...the greens and the blues creates the perfect contrast to the setting.....the almost..mythical feel of the painting as a whole. I didn;t notice this untill i looked at it closely...the little girl peeking from the doorway...I don;t know why...but thats my favorite part of the whole thing. A few questions though, why is it slightly pixelated in some places? I love it but its an odd effect. do you use painter? hahaha I'm so nosy, anyways this peice is gorgeous......

You know, I would have had a hard time believing (not that I want to sound pessimistic you understand) that there was room for improvement on the original work of this, but dammit I have to change my tune now. The cleanliness, refinements and added detail really do pull it all together. Can't wait to see what happens next with this piece.

Beautiful tones and movement in this, I love her, love the depth and the emotion you evoke in this lovely art piece.

wow, this is really coming along nice. amazing detal! i just love the spider webs. the colors work very well together, the cyan of the figure and the darker backround. the composition is prety cool. i might suggest a little more light coming in from the right side to help balance out the bright figure. also, some of the edges around her head and hair seem to be a little harsh, makes it look out of place. i think a little crisper detailing in the left hand tree and the beginning of the steps might really help create a better depth and perspective, youve already got that started with the back figure being distinctivly less clear. i cant wait to see this done.

Very beautiful piece and I totally love the subject and the idea of the angel/faerie creature playing with string. Your colours and composition are amazing and you did a great job on the woman. A suggestion I'd make is that you can make many of the edges in the background sharper, especially closer to the foreground. I think elements like the stairs, her cast shadow, the cracks in the floor and the vines could benefit from a bit of a sharper line.

This is truly a marvellous piece of art ... itΒ΄s so clean and full of depths and details - I think you donΒ΄t have to improve on this that much ... for me it just looks awesome ... the colors are perfect and the overall mood of this piece is so magical ... the lighting is brilliant ... donΒ΄t know what else to say ... totally awesome work !!!

DAMN!!!! thats utterly and completely gorgeous....the woman is exceptionally well done; very detailed and very sharp, while her surroudings are exactly the opposite...its a cool effect. the colors are beautiful too.
The only thing i can suggest is as the woman is rather sharp, maybe smooth the wings out and go from sharp to that smooth look. Love the character in the back too

I cant wait to see the finished pic! What are you useing to make it? it that a computer pic or a painting? Im no expert but i think the faerie in the background would look better if his arm and body didnt blur together so much. *shrugs* hes far a way so it might not fit with what you had in mind :~P is that water or magic on the floor? its very nice but it might be better if it reflected some of your marvolous background. or have the ground underneth show up clearer. but to put it bluntly its better than anything i have ^_^;; great job!!
