The moon is an artist,and we are simply patrons,
or so the stars insist,
of the moon’s hesitations/
The beams paint pictures,
or more specifically patterns,
of lights that are fixtures,
so much like lanterns/
The art serves to guide us
as we slip into trances
that break away the fuss
from our starry glances/
The moon is an artist,
and we are simply patrons
of the lights that consist
of our moon’s reservations.
