Gorgeous, I got to go watch some launch where I live and take photos, but never got a chance to get this kind of perspective. I really enjoy this sepia tone.

hot airballoons are the coolest - love the noise as they fly over - we had hot air show few years back at nasa took tons and tons of pictures but a little grainy was before using my sony f717 so not as clear as the canon 20D should check them out again one of these days ....man I am going stir crazy doing nothing but sitting around .....want out in the nice weather not stuck in here ...

It was in Southern California (orange county) a long time ago (early 80s). They used to have a festival of balloons. I took a ride and got the shot from being up in one! It was soooooo coool!

Really like the deep sephia colors, they fit the picture like a glove. The blured, almost burned-out, horison is super sweet, if you know what I mean? Also I really like the softness of the baloons. This is really looks like an oldschool picture, also with the little vw down in the right cornor.

happy you enjoy the balloons. slopjocket's balloon was my inspiration to turn it sepia. It's an old shot of mine done with my old analog Nikon a long time ago.
