This makes me think of an Asian ink drawing. Wonderful image full of soul.

Good, actually! Quiet! I sat around in my sweats, ate day old pizza, and watched cheesey old movies. (Seriously--I actually watched "Benji" on Netflix--and you know what? It was actually almost as good, even as an adult, as it was when I was a kid! A little heavy on the sappy music, but Benji was awesome--and the other actors weren't horrible... )

And you?

My god! I loved Benji. I remember taking my son to see it in Berkely Ca. He was all bummed out that he didn't get to go see Jaws so I tried to make it up. He did love it and we later bought the VHS ...watching it over and over with even more kids and grandkids. It's a little cheesy but basically a really cool film.

I wear sweats just about 24 7 ... so, of course I wore them New Year's Eve! Hoping 2010 is fabulous. I have a feeling it will be.

I agree! I was quite pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable it was, after all this time--particularly because in general, 70's movies don't hold up too well to the test of time! Too funny, though, that you have your story with it, too! We had a dog named "Biff" that looked just like Benji--it was terribly exciting when the movie came out, and it was like Biff was in a movie!

(I've always wondered where on earth the name "Biff" came from... I remember when he was born--I was VERY young then--and of the whole litter, we were only keeping him--because boy dogs couldn't have puppies, I think. Anyway, I desperately wanted to name him "Little Joe", after the character on Bonanza (which is odd, because Pa and Hoss were my favorite characters!)...but I was overridden, and he was named Biff. His mom was Spook (she was actually my dog--and I wanted to name her "Love Puppy", but my parents vetoed that, and only reluctantly agreed to "Love"--but she was a startle-y little dog, and Daddy started calling her "Spook", and it stuck...and his dad was Tappy--named, I believe, for the sound of his claws, when he walked. But "Biff"? I've no idea!) (I also wasn't allowed to rename him "Benji", when the movie came out. Man. Parents are so MEAN! )

I would wear sweats 24 7 too, if I didn't work at a bank! So I wear black jersey yoga pants to work, with flowing batik kimonos over them, and it's *almost* the same--but not quite as good as the disreputable sweats I put on when I get home!
