Makes perfect sense. Had a friend that changed his name; his explanation was 'My old name was my parents' trip. This one is mine.'

Well, now that you mention it, I'd have had a hard time changing my name while my parents were living. My Mother didn't choose my name but she loved "Myrna Loy" and "Yvonne deCarlo" so I got those names. He LOVED movies.
