love the antique look of this photo! head in a jar makes me think of the bell jar by sylvia plath. creepy and most admirable!

I thought of the Bell Jar also... though I don't believe I've ever read it! Thanks for the really great comment.

oh neat - well, glad to know we are making similar reflections...the book is a pretty short read, but intense. i'd lend it to you, but you are probably too far away.

I can see why. dolls can be so creepy, can't they.

creepy?
No it's not the dolls that are creepy. But rather, some people are just uncomfortable, being back in body & seeing an apparent lifeless doll, it simply reminds them of one's all too transcient existence.

YEs, I did make them. I still like dolls for lots of reasons but this image is totally weird and as you say, unsettling!

I love the intensity in the dolls eye. Wow feels amazing and simple, beautiful patina to it also.

Well, you shouldn't be unnoticed! Awesome stuff you got there. Looks like you have been 'schooled'.... very wonderful visuals... and technically excellent as well.

OMG, you reminded me of those 'body parts in jars'. I recall them from the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago!! At least I think that is where I saw them.
Thanks for your great comment!

the only way this could have been creepier is if it was a clown doll head. Very wierd and strange yet the shot is fantastic.
