I am going to stop moaning about the heat now....It is mid April here and there is no sign of winter..it was like 32 degrees celcius and really steamy. I was moaning all day...until I read the above comments and suddenly I don't feel so bad - thanks everyone.
Now, about the pic - yes it is beautiful and I like it because I never see scenes like that here - even in the coldest of our winters. I would love to spend the winter in a snow covered place and see things like that....then the cold wouldn't seem so bad. Its like a bonus. haha

You should definitely do it for one winter and I do believe that would be enough. It is strangely beautiful and quite 'alone' in the country. When spring comes, even a little bit of it, people are out and huddling together as survivors will after a crises.

haha.....that is a great image ....the survivor thing. I suppose we get like that sometimes too when its been really hot and dry for ages and then it rains..but instead of looking like survivors we look like nutcases...everyone comes out of their houses and stands in the rain, laughing. Its euphoric.

Reminds me of Fargo ... ouooups someone already said it. Well it's actually better than Fargo, because it's poetic and beautiful. One of the best winter shots of this season
