Description
This is another one that I really have become attached to. I don't mean that literally of course though there was a bit of an incident with the gold leafing glue. This is a shy lill guy who doesn't want to come out and play with the others. He's just relaxing in the shade of his favorite resting place, the amazingly sparkly blue leaf. I hope that you enjoy
What I used:
watercolor, inks, acrylics, coffee (lots), straight pigment, alchohol inks, gold leafing, powdered metals, butterfly wing, metal watch gears and various parts, oak leaf, salt, various synthetic brushes (they are inexpensive...), 90 lb canson watercolor paper.
More in the set:
So I decided to keep this one. I rarely like abstract pieces and the more I looked at this one, the more I loved it. It reminds me of lazy summer evenings, once the day has cooled and is comfy, with just a slight breeze. Even when it's that time of year, it's really nice to be reminded that I should stop and take a breath
