Description Guess who's fallen deeply in love with Gravity Falls? I wanted to do some fanart to the show but instead of doing happy lil' cutesy Mabel with her piggy I decided to draw her like in the Depravity falls AU. When I stumbled to this au I was scrollin' throught the artwork and thought to myself "what is this, why is Mabel yandere this is a kid's show what wha why?" But theeeeen I kinda grew into it and yeah. You can see the results. Damn you Depravity Falls for suckin' me into your creepy weird fandom! So there ya have it. Mabel in some kind of yandere-possession by Bill Cipher D:


I could cry tears of joy by how good the show is. It must be one of the best cartoons nowadays, I love that it isn't that 3D animation-crap that seems to be going on right now. I understand that that kind of style needs time and work too but I still prefer drawn cartoons. They please my eye much more than the animation in kids shows. The biggest deal though with the show is that it surrounds around MYSTERIES. I have become one of those fans that fanatically pause the video just so I can look up all the symbols I see and read some texts I understand that it's a kids show (or maybe pointed more to older viewers) so it may not go as deep as we fans would like it so but I do know and love the fact that there still are legit mysteries that the producers leave behind so we eager fans can construct our own conspiracies about them. I like that the show isn't too predictable - you know how you would watch Ghostbusters and when the ghost would appear you would try to guess who would be the criminal? Now I am tingling with excitement when I try to find the pieces to complete the puzzle.

This looks amazing! I love how despite the gory themes, the bright colors and cartoon-y art style makes it look quite cute. I also like how you didn't go overboard with the blood, because I feel that would have ruined the drawing. good job!

This drawing is so pretty!!! Your style is rather reminiscent of the style of the Vocaloid song, Matryoshka. It's kind of cool how her small/large intestines (?) are wrapped around her head. And the blood isn't too over-the-top too!

I want those earrings.

Thank you so much! c: I am familiar with that style and find the song and the PV's art style very very pretty, so rich in colors and quite a gorky and fun, edgy lines etc etc Though I didn't base this drawing on it, it's still nice that you find it similar to it! (: Haha, as I was drawing this I thought to myself: "Ugh there are so much intestines there.." though the large intestines are about 7 meters in their length, maybe? I dunno :I Yeah and I thought I would add some blood to those intestines but then I got lazy and it kinda looks more cutesy and cartoony when there isn't so much blood and dark areas like shadows there, adds more the two-dimensional flat color-type thing they use in good ol' cartoony style!


Oh, I'm dying for those earrings too.. Mabel just has the most cutest sweaters and earrings!

I never saw the PV actually, I'm just aware of its style. Oh, you didn't? There's still a resemblance, but it's easy to tell the style is your own. The length of the intestines are as fine as it is. Yeah, your picture is cute, cartoony, and gory all at once.  Nah, the simplicity of the colors makes it look both terrifying and cute, which makes for an interesting combination. Also, her eyes are Bill!!!!! ;D

 

I still don't get how Mabel can wear sweaters in June.

You should watch it! Though there aren't much more to it than Miku and Gumi flappin' their hands and pointing each other, the style and the song are great! (: After I checked it out I did see the resemblance Oh, good to hear! I'm such a sucker for those cute-and-gory pictures, creepy n' cute at the same time! Yippee, I'm so happy that you noticed! I thought about including Bill in his pyramid-form there like being behind Mabel or something but then it didn't work out so well so I decided to just add Bill-shaped pupils as for possession and in the third eye Bill is lurking as an "all-seeing-eye" ^^


That still remains as one of the biggest mysteries in Gravity Falls.. WHAT IS SHE. No one can handle all that swaaaag or BEDAZZLE (in Mabel's words) in the heat of the Summer!

The only Vocaloid PVs I've been watching as of late are anything related to Shuuen no Shiori or the Kagerou Project. I'll probably watch that PV soon though. If you like cute and gory, you'd love Another. Yeah, all the symbolism in Gravity Falls is wonderful. Making Dipper the sacrificial lamb is a nice touch too. Although I'm curious as to what ice is supposed to symbolize... The pentagram on Mabel's hand looks painful though.

No, the biggest mystery is how no one has compared Mabel to Chuck Norris... Oh wait, Chuck Norris wishes he were Mabel.

I love Kagerou Project! Be sure to check out the manga of it ^^ Yeah, I have watched that anime! It was great and had many surprises, just like Gravity Falls. I love it when there is a cartoon/manga/any show that isn't so predictable like most things I have watched. Wha whu what? Sacrificial lamb what is this D: And as far as I have done research (as I am a huuuuge GF-consipiracy theorist eheh) I have heard that it would represent Mabel? Maybe. I haven't gone so deep to know why it would be Mabel but it could represent her in (maybe) future episodes. It could also be linked to that episode where they are at the haunted shop and when Dip goes to get some ice and there comes out that weird floaty brainguy? What the heck was up with that scene too, how was it linked to anything at all.. Maybe it has something to do with Rob? Or Mabel as she got possessed there. I dunno, kinda far fetched! Or it could be just some character that will show up later as we do know that each symbol represents a character and Mabel is surely that llama (or camel?)!  I'm sure it will all come together in the end, just like in Another. I hope that they actually make it reeally deep and not just "lol Stan wrote the books as a kid and actually his secret base is just a darkroom for his love of photography!" I would hate that. 


Yeah, I guess that she doesn't even feel that though as she is possessed Maybe later if Dipper rescues her! It would explain why Mabel wasn't droppin' dead on the floor as possessed in that shop episode when she turned her head around like Regan in The Exorcist.. XD

I already read the manga a few months ago; I bought the first two volumes and the Downer Anthology.

 

 

I had to miss the season finale of Gravity Falls. I did found out Dipper was not sacrificed. Apparently there was blood though. According to Bill, Mabel is the shooting star; kind of obvious due to her sweater. I have no idea what the ice is for, but considering Dipper always attracted bad luck when ice was involved in an episode... I kind of want to see that floating brain in a future episode.

 

What if the Llama is..... LARRY KING. //Shot// I would hate it if Hirsch trolled us like that... But that would make me respect him even more.

I just watched it and it was AH-MAY-ZING. Yeah there was just an itsybitsy of blood, thankfully Dipper was ok And oh yeah I remember that part! When he said "Questionmark, Pinetree, Shooting Star" as their symbols D: And that could be it... Or it could be some other dude :/ Dunno! Or maybe they all have 2 symbols like Mabel has llama and shooting star and Stan has that weird mark in his hat and the glasses he used to wear as we saw him in his younger days peeping out the Mystery Shack... Hmm-m.
