I was in a Clair mood, so I asked her to draw her and here it is: [Clair Lasbard ]. After seeing it, I was suddenly inspired to draw Clair myself and used a scene from 'For the Prosperity of Aquor' where she was acknowledging Kimmel's feelings for her.

I actually used to dislike Clair's hair, but now I borderline fetishize that style if it's done right. I saw one chibified fanart of her that somehow made her hair look like a manatee that had attached itself to her head. (Incidentally, it was a piece of Albel/Clair art, since that ship seems to have a decent if small following with the Japanese fans.)

I once wrote a fic where she was almost married to Albel. I wouldn't object to those two getting together, but I think Albel isn't a good intellectual match for her. Despite his philosophy, he's not smart enough to keep up with her- and he's too angry most of the time.
I heard there was also a sizable Peppita/Albel fandom in Japan, too. Why not? It could work out in a few years. I think she's violent enough for him

I remember that fic, I think. Was it the one where Nel eventually takes her place at the wedding, and Clair wins a bet with Tynave and Farleen in regards to Nel's true feelings for Albel? Regardless, I'm sure Albel would eventually lose his temper over all the times Clair beats him at chess, and Clair would just grow bored with it anyways.
Peppita/Albel? I have yet to see that one while surfing Japanese fanart sites. Is that even...legal? It also occurs to me that another issue people seem to forget is the fact that, even though all the aliens look human, the Elicoorians are still technically a different species from the Earthlings, the Klausians, etc., so that would make this...uh...something that probably prevents them from mixing genes.
