Description ...Ever since Albel joined the team, Nel felt like she was being watched wherever she went. If she so much as twitched a finger, his eyes were on her and he would wear a sinister grin on his face. Nel knew that look all too well. His eyes were predatory. He was waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Nel knew what he wanted and as much as she didn't want to admit it...she wanted it too.

Yup! Another Alnel pic! This one is based on a chapter I want to write on a lemon story I started oh so long ago where Albel encountered Nel in the Kirlsa Training Facility and they end up...bonding.

The timeline in this alternate game storyline is just after the team picked up Albel from the dungeons and they're about to go after that giant dragon whose name escapes me at the moment. The setting in this drawing is supposed to be the workshop in Airyglyph, hence why Albel is wearing a cloak.

Also...behold my background making skills! That has also improved with my drawing and coloring ability.

Disclaimer: I do not own Star Ocean 3 or any of its characters. They are the property of SquareEnix.

Same as the other comment. I made it back in July. I never got Nel's hair the same way again for some reason...

Yup! I had chapter 11 in mind when I first drew it, but I didn't know how the actual part in the story was going to turn out when I got there. Now that I look back on this, it's only a summary of what happened in that scene

Yup, I drew this just before I picked up that story and started updating. But now that I'm finally getting to that point, that scene is going to end up a little different.

Thanks for the support!

Eh, I can't take all of the credit. I looked up tutorials to better myself. But I will take credit for the effort I put into it. There really is no shortcuts in putting in details.

I learned how to detail hair and fur from different tutorials on DA. I can recommend some good ones if you want to give it a try. It's really fun to learn new techniques.

Okay, I don't really know what you use or what tools you have, but these are mostly photoshop (or anything adobe) tutorials that use the drawing tablet. But even if you don't have one or the other, it's still useful information that you could use.

Also, has a few good tutorials that you can look up (and she made a couple of Alnel pics).

Anyway these two are videos: Hair and Skin Shading and Blending

And this is the fur tutorial I used for this: Fur

That's what I use for all of my art. Anything else I want to learn, I just type in the DA search bar and look under Stock and Resources then under 'Tutorials'

I love Nel's expression. Heeee, fun! The dragon's name is Crossell. Not sure if I spelled that right, not sure if I care. And yes, I do indeed envy your background-making skills.

I knew it was Crosell or something like that, but I couldn't remember the spelling (still don't) and I didn't want to make the attempt.

But yeah, I love her expression too. And I love how the subtle blushing came out without ruining the lighting and shading of her skin. This is the first pic that I remembered to add a blush. I always try to remind myself that a character needs to blush and I always forget.
