My very first ACEO trade, two cards made for the wonderfulI really do hope she likes them. The computer screen did make them a bit brighter than the real cards. I couldn't make them darker because they got blurry if I tried.
The one on top is Kohiro, her white/blue eastern dragon OC, the one on the bottom is Albireo, another OC. Personally, I like how the Albireo-card turned out best ^^
Done in ballpoint pen and water colors.

i especially like the head of the upper one, all the little details. also that there is not a big contrast between the dragon's colors and the background, it makes the picture looks calm.
the neck of the lower one looks a little weird to me ^^ but oh well...

Hmm, I think I could see why it might look weird, I think.. with the somewhat strong turn and all. Maybe I overdid the overlapping "layers" a bit. But I liked the overall look of the card. I like it better than the upper one, actually. But to everyone his own. ^^ Of course you can like the upper one better.

yes, i like drawing other people's characters too, but i rather do regular art trades than ACEOs 
but it's a little difficult for the other person i trade with because i don't have characters

I don't have characters either! XD I always have to think of new things for other people to draw. I haven't actually traded that much yet, but I hope I can trade with a lot of people in the future

When I'm done with my final exams, I think I'll be opening ACEO trades. I'd be delighted to trade with a whole bunch of people ^^ I could make my own ACEO-album that way.

It sure is! And that would be wonderful! Heh! Then I guess I start practicing with water colours and more realistic dragons! That way I might one day be able to trade with you and actually be able to give you something of similar quality. Good Luck with your exams!

As long as the artist puts effort into the cards, it doesn't really matter to me what's on them, or how skilled the artist is. You don't have to change your style, just for me X) I know it sounds cliche, but it really is the thought that counts ^^ Personally, I think it's wonderful that people would like to work hard in order to give their work away to someone else. Giving and trading are beautiful things.

Ooo...these are so pretty. I really love their poses. I also like the colors you used. How there is a slight tint of blue. I wish I had such a good handle on watercolors.

And no, actually, I don't really get that at all X) People don't talk to me often and nobody asked me to trade before. I'd be delighted to trade with more people, but it's kind of a busy time at school, with loads of homework and final exams on the way. In about ten weeks, the exams will be over though, and I'll have tons of time again due to lack of school (yay!). I'll probably be opening ACEO trades then

I'm so glad you like them ^^ It is always a surprise if whether a person you draw something for likes the result or not.
I had a lot of fun with these. Especially with Kohiro's fur. I usually draw scaled dragons, so drawing a furry one for once was kind of neat ^^ And I could have been even faster! If only the new pokemon game wouldn't have gotten in the way X) I've been playing that like crazy.
