This might be the final gift this weary traveler ever offers a lady.Finally finished this piece that I've been working on for a little while now. I'm really happy with it! Tried to focus on values while working directly in color, still not my strongest point. It takes me too long to get to something like this, I'd like to get faster at this process. I hope you guys will like this piece as much as I do, even though it has animal characters and there's no dragon in it

I'm not sure what it is about these characters, but I love them! The way you painted them is done so well. Painting in direct color is something I just delved into myself and it does take a bit getting used to but I can honestly say you did great! Values are on point. Nice work!

I imagined her to be a spirit the traveler meets along one of his journeys, and she makes herself appear irresistibly attractive to him. As he tries to gain her attention with gifts and is enamored by her, he lets his guard down and no longer notices his imminent death right behind him. The spirit will most likely devour him, as he's blinded by her beauty.
